Process 01 | Australia | 2011–2013
Relocated to Western Australia, I began making work from inside displacement — sketchbooks, collage on cardboard, painting during crèche sessions while kind women held my children. The Australian magpie — prehistoric, indifferent, judging — became the central figure. Community and female relationships are not peripheral to practice. They are structural to it.
